Sommertunika mit Flechtausschnitt / Summer Tunic with braided neckline

 Für dieses Shirt habe ich mein abgeändertes Schnittmuster Agnes (siehe meine Posts Agnes Nr. 1 - 4) verwendet. Dabei habe ich die weit ausgestellte Shirt Version um ca. 6 cm verlängert. Wie immer habe ich einen Brustabnäher gearbeitet, da die Oberteile dann einfach besser sitzen.

For this shirt I used my modified pattern Agnes (see my posts Agnes n. 1 - 4). I extended the wider shirt version by about 6 cm. As always, I made a breast dart, because the tops just sit better.

 

 Für den  Flechtausschnitt und die Ärmel habe ich das Schnittmuster Jenny Classic von Tinalisa verwendet,  Natürlich hätte ich auch für die ganze Tunika den Schnitt Jenny Classic verwenden könnne, aber die Prinzess Nähte hätten das Muster des Stoffes zerschnitten. Update: Es gibt den Schnitt Jenny Casual von Tinalisa der diesen Flechtausschnitt und  Brustabnäher hat.

 For the braided neckline and the sleeves I used the pattern Jenny Flair by Tinalisa, Of course I could have used the cut Jenny Flair for the whole tunic, but the princess seams would have cut the pattern of the fabric. Update: There is the pattern Jenny Casual of Tinalisa with the braided neckline and bust darts.

Da ich nur 1.50 m von dem Stoff hatte, musste ich das Rückenteil mit einer Mittelnaht zuschneiden.  Der Extra Zeitaufwand für die Positionierung hat sich gelohnt, oder seht ihr die Mittelnaht???

Since I had only 1.50 m of fabric, I had to cut the back piece with a middle seam. The extra time required for positioning has paid off, or do you see the middle seam?

 

Nein??? Fragt nicht wie, aber mit viel Glück konnte ich die Teile so zuschneiden, dass das Muster sich fortgesetzt hat.

No??? Do not ask how, but with luck I was able to cut the pieces so that the pattern continued.

Stoff: 95% Modal mit 5 % Elasthan, Sunset Blossom von Lillestoff, gekauft letztes Jahr bei Stoffschwester in Wien. Trägt sich wunderbar und ist sehr luftig, allerdings ist nach dreimaligem Waschen bereits leichtes Pilling und Ausbleichen sichtbar (trotz 30 Grad Wäsche und Colorwaschmittel).

 Fabric: 95% modal with 5% spandex, Sunset Blossom by Lillestoff, bought last year at Stoffschwester in Vienna. Wears wonderfully and is very airy, but after three washing already light pilling and bleaching is visible (despite 30 degrees laundry and color detergent).

 Ich hatte die Tunika ursprünglich passend zu einer petrolfarbenen Hose genäht, aber mit meiner neuen senffarbenen Jeans finde ich sie fast noch besser (Stoff von driessenstoffen.nl). Wenn es warm ist, trage ich eine weisse Dreiviertelhose dazu.

I originally sewed the tunic to match a petrol-colored pair of trousers, but with my new mustard-colored jeans I find it even better (fabric by driessenstoffen.nl). With warm wheater, I'll wear a pair of white mid length pants.
